Week 9: Rowland Raiders Vs Montclair Cavaliers – October 24, 2025 (44 - 7 Final)
Final Score: Rowland 44, Montclair 7
Location: Montclair, CA
There’s a quiet kind of dominance that comes from a team that knows exactly who it is.
Rowland High School’s 2025 Raiders walked into Montclair on Friday night with that confidence — and walked out with something the program has never had before: a 9–0 record.
The Raiders overwhelmed the Cavaliers from the start, scoring 22 first-quarter points and never looking back en route to a 44–7 victory. It was another complete performance built on balance, execution, and a culture that has turned “the Gold Standard” from a slogan into a weekly expectation.

Rowland Raiders Damien Arrieta Celebrates his 3rd Touchdown of the Night
Senior Damien Arrieta (#7) set the tone early, slicing through Montclair’s defense for 78 yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries. When Rowland needed versatility, he delivered there too — completing 4-for-4 passes for 43 yards.
Bryce Johnson (#6) added 56 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while CJ Carrillo (#8) provided 202 all-purpose yards — powering through tackles, converting key downs, and adding a two-point run.
The Raiders’ defense also went to work. Frankie Trujillo (#11) anchored the front with seven tackles and 2.5 sacks, and Jovany Delgado (#28) added another sack with five tackles of his own.
With the game well in hand, Damien Arrieta (#7) found Jovany Delgado (#28) for a late touchdown in the fourth quarter, sealing the 44–7 final.
When the clock hit zero, the scoreboard told the story: another statement, another chapter in a historic season.
At 9–0, Rowland remains one of San Gabriel Valley's few unbeaten programs — and one win away from completing a perfect regular season.

Final word
The Raiders have now proven that domination doesn’t have to be loud — it just has to be consistent. Every week, the formula stays the same: discipline, balance, and belief. With each win, Rowland continues to redefine what’s possible for a program that’s playing for more than a season — they’re building a legacy.
Next up: Rowland (9–0) returns home Friday, October 31, for Senior Night — a Halloween showdown with Don Lugo (Chino, CA) in the regular-season finale.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at Rowland High School.
The stakes couldn’t be higher: the Raiders will play for the league title, an undefeated regular season, and a chance to cement their place in school history as the first Rowland team ever to finish 10–0 heading into the playoffs.
