Rowland Football is more than just a team. It’s a commitment to discipline, effort, and excellence—on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
For decades, our program has built elite athletes, leaders, and competitors who represent Rowland High School with pride. We don’t just play the game. We set the standard for how it should be played.
Accountability – Every player is responsible for their preparation, performance, and growth.
Work Ethic– Success isn’t given. It’s earned in the weight room, on the practice field, and in the film room.
Brotherhood – Raiders don’t just play for themselves. They play for their team, their school, and the legacy of those who came before them.
Excellence– On the field. In the classroom. In life. Rowland Football competes in everything we do.
Rowland Football is a pipeline for players looking to compete at the next level.
Our program focuses on:
College Exposure– Helping athletes get noticed through game film, networking, and preparation.
Elite Training – Strength, speed, and football IQ development to prepare players for higher levels of competition.
Discipline & Leadership – Talent alone isn’t enough. Success requires the right mindset, discipline, and accountability.
Note: Our program does not guarantee recruitment or college placement. We focus on preparation, development, and providing opportunities for athletes to grow.
Led by Head Coach Citos Marinez, Rowland Football is built on a foundation of discipline, effort, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. A Rowland High School alumnus, Class of 1999, Coach Marinez returns to lead the program he once played for—bringing with him a championship-winning pedigree and nearly two decades of coaching experience.
His coaching career has taken him through some of Southern California’s most competitive football programs, including Jurupa Hills, Gladstone, Redlands East Valley, Baldwin Park, La Puente, Cerritos, and La Serna High Schools. With a deep understanding of defensive strategy, player development, and championship culture, Coach Marinez is setting a new standard for Rowland Football.
Beyond the field, Coach Marinez has been an educator since 2005, teaching History, Physical Education, and Yoga. His commitment to developing leaders both on and off the field is at the core of his coaching philosophy.
With his leadership, Rowland Football is prepared to compete, develop talent, and build a winning tradition.
